Israel has vaccinated most of its population. Israeli doctors have found that the death rate of vaccinated people is 40 times higher than the unvaccinated covid death count!  And this is only the vaccine deaths that got counted as covid,  deaths from other complications not included.  Israeli doctors are now accusing their government of a new Holocaust...

CHARIOTS OF FIRE

A scripture that is very, very special to me is:

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

Character is of more value to Jesus than possessions or achievements. You see, God’s values and our values are sometimes totally different. The soul of a man is more important to the Lord than any worldly achievements.

Mark 8:36 says:
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul.”

You see it is all about priorities at the end of the day. The Lord Jesus is more interested in courage, faith, purity, self-control and love towards Him, than the worldly efforts and accomplishments that we try so hard to achieve.

Remember that movie, one of my favourite movies - Chariots of Fire and that Scottish sprinter named Eric Liddell? He is not remembered for being the fastest man on the planet at that time. No, he is remembered as a man who was not swayed or pressurized by even the future King of England. That’s right!

He had to run in the final of the 100 meters at the Olympic Games. He was a guaranteed gold medalist but he said: “It is falling on a Sunday, I can’t run on a Sunday - it is against my convictions.” They even brought in the Prince of Wales, the future King of England, He said: “You must run for your king and your country.”
He said: “My King says that I must not run on Sundays.”
He stuck, rigidly, to his beliefs and would not run on a Sunday.

So what happened?
Well they put him in the 400 metres, which he wasn’t trained for and the Americans thought, “We'll take him out very easily because he will 'spend himself' after 100 meters.” But what happened... God was with him!

Not only did he get the Gold Medal for the 400 metres but he broke the world record. And that happened because one man, Eric Liddell, honoured God - and then he got the Gold Medal. He went to China as a missionary and died at the age of 43, preaching the gospel and taking care of the poor and the needy.

Hold fast to your values today, and your standards, do not be swayed by man’s pressure.
God bless you and goodbye.

THE GOOD SHEPHERD

BUT WHEN HE SAW THE MULTITUDES, HE WAS MOVED WITH COMPASSION FOR THEM, BECAUSE THEY WERE WEARY AND SCATTERED, LIKE SHEEP HAVING NO SHEPHERD.

— MATTHEW 9:36

There are multitudes of people at the moment, all over the world, who are weary, tired, scattered and lost, just like lost sheep. You know it is so sad to see a sheep running around on its own, trying to find its way having lost the flock. I used to run sheep here on this farm and there is nothing sadder than to see a sheep that is totally lost.

Many years ago I was at agricultural college in bonny Scotland. I remember, in the middle of one semester, a certain man by the name of Macmillan - he was one of the tallest guys I have ever seen. He must have been close to 7-foot tall. He came from the west coast of Scotland, that mountainous area where those craggy peaks are. Very beautiful but very harsh.

He was given special leave from college to go back to the west coast of Scotland because he had to bring his father’s sheep down from the steep, craggy mountains, to the safety of the valleys below, where they could winter through that severe time that they have in Scotland. The sheep would lamb down in comfort in the presence of the shepherd.

Jesus is our Good Shepherd and He knows the way. We need to lead the lost sheep to Him and He will bring them back home safely. You might say: “I am not experienced, I am not a preacher, I am not a speaker.”

Maybe not, but Jesus is.

You might say, “I don’t know what to say.”

Just tell them, in a gentle, loving and compassionate way, how The Good Shepherd found you when you were lost and you felt abandoned. What the world needs today is lots of TLC - tender, loving care.

The Good Shepherd is calling this sabbath morning. He is calling for His beloved sheep today. Show folk, those who are lost, how to find Him and He will do all the necessary work.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

The only thing I take seriously in the newspapers nowadays is Fish and Chips.
And even that I take with a pinch of salt.

Warn the people

There was a man driving down a road on a stormy night. Visibility was not very good that night.
Suddenly he sees someone jumping around in the middle of the road ahead, waving his jacket like a wild man.
He slows and stops, suspicious of the stranger. The man comes to his door and shouts through the closed window, "The bridge is down. Stop. Turn around. Please!" The man gestures wildly to try to convince him.
He pulls over, leaves his park lights on and gets out. He pulls his collar up against the wind and rain and talks to the man. Together, they walk just around the sharp bend. There, the bridge is clearly broken, a huge boulder had rolled down the mountain side and crashed a section of the bridge away.
Then...... they hear the engine of a car approaching. They both sprint because they know the driver would not see the broken bridge in time and plunge down into the steep gorge far below.
He joins the other man jumping around in the middle of the road like a wild man.
Fortunately, the car stops and turns around. They look at each other with a smile. Drenched, they sit in his car for a while, looking for the lights that will show another on-coming car. As they see lights coming towards them, they both jump out the car and try to warn the next driver.
Will this driver listen? They hope so. Still, they MUST TRY. It might just save a LIFE.

This is why us crazy Christians try to tell people that Jesus loves them. They don't need to fall down a steep cliff (in life's journey). God loves them. God loves each one of YOU so much. And He loves me too.
Have a wonderfully blessed day. Feel free to chat to me about anything, any questions, I'll try my best to find an answer. Basically, Jesus is the answer to everything.
